The work Almost Kissing Wings by Sarah Crowner was sold in the Contemporary Day Auction auction at Sothebys in New York in May last year. It achieved a price of USD 94,500.00 (€ 88,062.62), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 58%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sarah Crowner - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Rotated Stretched Stems, Cropped, which sold at auction in November 2021 for USD 378,000.00 (€ 334,898.56).

Die Arbeit Almost Kissing Wings von Sarah Crowner wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion Contemporary Day Auction bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 94.500,00 (€ 88.062,62) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 58%. Für andere Arbeiten von Sarah Crowner mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Rotated Stretched Stems, Cropped beobachtet, die im November 2021 für USD 378.000,00 (€ 334.898,56) versteigert wurde.
