Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Pamela Anderson, Hollywood, Bamboo Nude #1, 2000 by Sante D'Orazio for GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,243.76). This price was achieved in the auction Erotic Online at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sante D'Orazio achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pam Grid #1, 2010 in April 2013 with an auction result of USD 99,750.00 (€ 75,751.82).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Pamela Anderson, Hollywood, Bamboo Nude #1, 2000 von Sante D'Orazio für GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.243,76) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Erotic Online bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sante D'Orazio erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pam Grid #1, 2010 im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 99.750,00 (€ 75.751,82).
