The work Fox Games by Sandy Skoglund was auctioned at Phillips in New York in October 2019. The price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 11,205.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Sandy Skoglund have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Green House, 1990 in May 2012 with an auction result of GBP 37,250.00 (€ 46,411.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Fox Games von Sandy Skoglund kam im Oktober 2019 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 11.205,74) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sandy Skoglund auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Green House, 1990 im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 37.250,00 (€ 46.411,86).
