Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Samuel Bak was sold in the Modern Art Online including Works from the Collection of Marina Picasso auction at Sothebys in London in May last year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 5,670.00 (€ 6,670.22) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Samuel Bak have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Blue Flag in December 2016 with an auction result of USD 35,000.00 (€ 33,169.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Samuel Bak wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern Art Online including Works from the Collection of Marina Picasso bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 5.670,00 (€ 6.670,22) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Samuel Bak auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Blue Flag im Dezember 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 33.169,07).
