Auction result well in line with expectations
In March last year Grisebach held the auction Online Only 2021/2022 - Modern Art Online Only, 11.3. - 20.3.2022, which included the work „Elements of a game“. by Samuel Bak. The price achieved of EUR 6,875.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Samuel Bak have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Blue Flag in December 2016 with an auction result of USD 35,000.00 (€ 33,169.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März letzten Jahres führte Grisebach die Auktion Online Only 2021/2022 - Modern Art Online Only, 11.3. - 20.3.2022 durch, in der auch die Arbeit „Elements of a game“. von Samuel Bak zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 6.875,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Samuel Bak auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Blue Flag im Dezember 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 33.169,07).
