A top price for Samuel Bak - as previously expected
In December 2016 Sothebys in New York held the auction Israeli & International Art, which included the work Blue Flag by Samuel Bak. The price achieved of USD 35,000.00 (€ 33,169.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Blue Flag is the most expensive artwork by Samuel Bak that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Dezember 2016 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Israeli & International Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Blue Flag von Samuel Bak zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 33.169,07) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Blue Flag das teuerste Kunstwerk von Samuel Bak, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
