Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Questions and Answers by Samuel Bak was sold in the Modern Art Online including Works from the Collection of Marina Picasso auction at Sothebys in London in May last year. The price achieved of GBP 5,040.00 (€ 5,929.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Samuel Bak have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Blue Flag in December 2016 with an auction result of USD 35,000.00 (€ 33,169.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Questions and Answers von Samuel Bak wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern Art Online including Works from the Collection of Marina Picasso bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.040,00 (€ 5.929,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Samuel Bak auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Blue Flag im Dezember 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 33.169,07).
