This artwork by Samuel Andrews achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in May 2014. In the The Raglan Collection: Wellington, Waterloo and The Crimea And Works of Art from the Collection of the Marquesses of Londonderry auction, the work Unknown sold for GBP 3,250.00 (€ 3,994.35) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Samuel Andrews; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Unknown sold at auction in June 2011 with the realized price of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 6,637.88).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Samuel Andrews erzielte im Mai 2014 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Raglan Collection: Wellington, Waterloo and The Crimea And Works of Art from the Collection of the Marquesses of Londonderry wurde die Arbeit Unknown für GBP 3.250,00 (€ 3.994,35) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Samuel Andrews; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Unknown im Juni 2011 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 6.637,88).
