In July 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction The Pohl-Ströher Collection of Portrait Miniatures Part II, which included the work Portrait Of An Officer Of The Horse Guards Of The Governor General Of Bengal, Circa 1800 by Samuel Andrews. The price achieved of GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,215.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Other works by Samuel Andrews have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2011 the work Unknown was auctioned for GBP 6,000.00 (€ 6,637.88).
