Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
This work without title by Sam Moyer was worth USD 31,250.00 (€ 28,334.39) to a buyer in March 2020. This price was achieved in the auction New Now at Phillips in New York and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 10,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Sam Moyer; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Flo's Fern sold at auction in September last year with the realized price of USD 42,840.00 (€ 43,790.25).

Die Arbeit ohne Titel von Sam Moyer war einem Käufer im März 2020 USD 31.250,00 (€ 28.334,39) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in New York erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von USD 10.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Sam Moyer; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Flo's Fern im September letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 42.840,00 (€ 43.790,25).
