Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Kate On Stool (Close Up), 1964 by Sam Haskins was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in July 2020. The price achieved of EUR 5,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Sam Haskins have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Orignal maquette for Cowboy Kate & Other Stories, 1963-64 in May 2016 with an auction result of GBP 35,000.00 (€ 45,671.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Kate On Stool (Close Up), 1964 von Sam Haskins kam im Juli 2020 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sam Haskins auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Orignal maquette for Cowboy Kate & Other Stories, 1963-64 im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 35.000,00 (€ 45.671,31).
