This artwork by Sam Haskins achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in February 2021. In the British. Cool. auction, the work Kate, Gun Belt (Front) sold for GBP 2,805.00 (€ 3,235.04) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sam Haskins achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Orignal maquette for Cowboy Kate & Other Stories, 1963-64 in May 2016 with an auction result of GBP 35,000.00 (€ 45,671.31).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Sam Haskins erzielte im Februar 2021 bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion British. Cool. wurde die Arbeit Kate, Gun Belt (Front) für GBP 2.805,00 (€ 3.235,04) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sam Haskins erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Orignal maquette for Cowboy Kate & Other Stories, 1963-64 im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 35.000,00 (€ 45.671,31).
