It achieved a price of EUR 11,250.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 41 %. Admittedly, works by Sam Haskins have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Orignal maquette for Cowboy Kate & Other Stories, 1963-64 in May 2016 with an auction result of GBP 35,000.00 (€ 45,671.31).

Die Arbeit Haskins Poster Cover, 1971 von Sam Haskins wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion Magnificent Nudes: Iconic Photographs from Distinguished Private Collections bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 11.250,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 41 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sam Haskins auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Orignal maquette for Cowboy Kate & Other Stories, 1963-64 im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 35.000,00 (€ 45.671,31).
