Sold at the lower estimate price
In March 2015 Sothebys in London held the auction Made In Britain, which included the work Cowboy Kate, 1969 by Sam Haskins. The result of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 2,073.83) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sam Haskins achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Orignal maquette for Cowboy Kate & Other Stories, 1963-64 in May 2016 with an auction result of GBP 35,000.00 (€ 45,671.31).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im März 2015 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Made In Britain durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cowboy Kate, 1969 von Sam Haskins zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 1.500,00 (€ 2.073,83) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sam Haskins erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Orignal maquette for Cowboy Kate & Other Stories, 1963-64 im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 35.000,00 (€ 45.671,31).
