Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Atlas of Galaxy Drawings by Russell Crotty was sold in the Post War and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in New York in September 2003. The price achieved of USD 9,560.00 (€ 5,793.94) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Other works by Russell Crotty have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in February 2011 the work Two works: (i) The Crescent Nebula in Cygnus (ii) Fake Ranch was auctioned for GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,889.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Atlas of Galaxy Drawings von Russell Crotty wurde im September 2003 in der Auktion Post War and Contemporary Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 9.560,00 (€ 5.793,94) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden.
