Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Jupiter Over Trophy Homes by Russell Crotty was auctioned at Phillips in an online auction in December 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 1,000.00 – 2,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 1,250.00 (€ 1,113.39) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Russell Crotty have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Two works: (i) The Crescent Nebula in Cygnus (ii) Fake Ranch in February 2011 with an auction result of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,889.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Jupiter Over Trophy Homes von Russell Crotty kam im Dezember 2019 bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 1.250,00 (€ 1.113,39) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
