The work Kyoto Bamboo Path by Russel Wong was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2010. It achieved a price of HKD 37,500.00 (€ 3,705.12), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Admittedly, works by Russel Wong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bamboo Forest in May 2007 with an auction result of HKD 204,000.00 (€ 19,424.96).

Die Arbeit Kyoto Bamboo Path von Russel Wong kam im November 2010 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 37.500,00 (€ 3.705,12) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Russel Wong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bamboo Forest im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 204.000,00 (€ 19.424,96).
