Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work On the scent; and The Kill by Rudolf Stone was sold in the SPORTING ART AND DOGS auction at Christies in London in June 2000. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 2,232.50 (€ 3,538.79). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rudolf Stone - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The meet; Over the fence; In full cry; and The kill, which sold at auction in June 2002 for GBP 8,812.50 (€ 13,630.94).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit On the scent; and The Kill von Rudolf Stone wurde im Juni 2000 in der Auktion SPORTING ART AND DOGS bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 2.232,50 (€ 3.538,79) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Rudolf Stone mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The meet; Over the fence; In full cry; and The kill beobachtet, die im Juni 2002 für GBP 8.812,50 (€ 13.630,94) versteigert wurde.
