Sold at the lower estimate price
The work Yellow Square by Rudolf Bauer was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale auction at Sothebys in London in July 2020. The result of GBP 200,000.00 (€ 223,084.76) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rudolf Bauer - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Squares, which sold at auction in May 2015 for USD 850,000.00 (€ 773,148.99).

Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 200.000,00 (€ 223.084,76) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 200.000,00 – 300.000,00.
