Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Komposition 18 by Rudolf Bauer was sold in the Modern Art | New York auction at Sothebys in New York in December 2021. The price achieved of USD 40,320.00 (€ 35,624.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 35,000.00 – 45,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rudolf Bauer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Squares in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 850,000.00 (€ 773,148.99).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Komposition 18 von Rudolf Bauer wurde im Dezember 2021 in der Auktion Modern Art | New York bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 40.320,00 (€ 35.624,67) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 35.000,00 – 45.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rudolf Bauer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Squares im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 850.000,00 (€ 773.148,99).
