Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cottages In Norfolk by Roy Petley was sold in the 20th Century British and Irish Art auction at Sothebys in Olympia in November 2006. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 900.00 (€ 1,336.53) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Roy Petley have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Beach At Dueville in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 3,840.00 (€ 5,702.52).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Cottages In Norfolk von Roy Petley wurde im November 2006 in der Auktion 20th Century British and Irish Art bei Sothebys in Olympia versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 900,00 (€ 1.336,53) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
