In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale - Afternoon Session auction, the work Key and Cue, No. 983 IDEALS ARE THE FAIRY OIL sold for USD 126,000.00 (€ 111,632.85) - well above the upper estimate of USD 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Roni Horn - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Still Water (The River Thames, For Example), which sold at auction in October 2020 for USD 378,000.00 (€ 324,547.09).
