Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Have a Good Rum For Your Money by Ronald Searle was auctioned at Bonhams in London in December this year. The price achieved of GBP 4,096.00 (€ 4,718.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ronald Searle have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 'Back To School' in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 27,657.85).

Die Arbeit Have a Good Rum For Your Money von Ronald Searle kam im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.096,00 (€ 4.718,44) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ronald Searle auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 'Back To School' im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 27.657,85).
