The work Manager by Ronald Searle was auctioned at Bonhams in London in December this year. It achieved a price of GBP 1,152.00 (€ 1,327.06), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 44%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ronald Searle achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 'Back To School' in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 27,657.85).

Die Arbeit Manager von Ronald Searle kam im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.152,00 (€ 1.327,06) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 44%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ronald Searle erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 'Back To School' im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 27.657,85).
