Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mic Mac by Ron Kleemann was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2012. The price achieved of USD 10,000.00 (€ 7,778.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ron Kleemann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work (20/20) in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 181,000.00 (€ 123,229.85).

Die Arbeit Mic Mac von Ron Kleemann kam im September 2012 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 7.778,47) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ron Kleemann erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit (20/20) im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 181.000,00 (€ 123.229,85).
