Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Can-Tankerous by Ron Kleemann for USD 62.00 (€ 54.12). This price was achieved in the auction Prints & Multiples Online at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 200.00 – 300.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ron Kleemann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work (20/20) in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 181,000.00 (€ 123,229.85).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Can-Tankerous von Ron Kleemann für USD 62,00 (€ 54,12) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Prints & Multiples Online bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 200,00 – 300,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ron Kleemann erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit (20/20) im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 181.000,00 (€ 123.229,85).
