Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work "Untitled, #4" by Ron Gorchov was sold in the Contemporary Art & Design auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in April last year. It achieved a price of SEK 290,000.00 (€ 28,072.51), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 16%. Admittedly, works by Ron Gorchov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work General in June this year with an auction result of GBP 152,800.00 (€ 177,832.89).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit "Untitled, #4" von Ron Gorchov wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von SEK 290.000,00 (€ 28.072,51) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 16%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ron Gorchov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit General im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 152.800,00 (€ 177.832,89).
