This artwork by Ron Gorchov achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bukowski in Stockholm in June last year. In the Important Spring Sale auction, the work "Penduluum" sold for SEK 840,000.00 (€ 77,589.07) - well above the upper estimate of SEK 400,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ron Gorchov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work General, which sold at auction in June this year for GBP 152,800.00 (€ 177,832.89).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ron Gorchov erzielte im Juni letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Important Spring Sale wurde die Arbeit "Penduluum" für SEK 840.000,00 (€ 77.589,07) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von SEK 400.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ron Gorchov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit General beobachtet, die im Juni diesen Jahres für GBP 152.800,00 (€ 177.832,89) versteigert wurde.
