Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pastel Spring by Romero Britto was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in London in December 2017. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,626.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Romero Britto achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work American Dream in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 250,000.00 (€ 227,396.76).

Die Arbeit Pastel Spring von Romero Britto wurde im Dezember 2017 in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.626,77) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Romero Britto erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit American Dream im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 250.000,00 (€ 227.396,76).
