Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Romero Britto achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in November 2009. In the Sale benefiting to Ecoles de l'Espoir auction, the work Flying Fish sold for EUR 1,403.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Romero Britto achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work American Dream in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 250,000.00 (€ 227,396.76).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Romero Britto erzielte im November 2009 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Sale benefiting to Ecoles de l'Espoir wurde die Arbeit Flying Fish für EUR 1.403,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Romero Britto erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit American Dream im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 250.000,00 (€ 227.396,76).
