In May 2007 Christies in New York held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Morning Session, which included the work Autumn Figure by Roland Petersen. The »bidding war« ended at USD 132,000.00 (€ 98,119.38), 32% above the upper estimate. With this result, Autumn Figure is even the most expensive work of art by Roland Petersen that we have observed at auctions so far.
