Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Who Sank All Night In A Submarine Light (From The Fictionville Series) by Rokni Haerizadeh was sold in the Contemporary Art / Doha auction at Sothebys in Doha in April 2013. The price achieved of USD 17,500.00 (€ 13,289.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rokni Haerizadeh achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shomal (Beach at the Caspian) in March 2015 with an auction result of USD 221,000.00 (€ 205,753.65).
