Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Rodolfo Nieto was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in July 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 8,125.00 (€ 7,300.09) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rodolfo Nieto achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Toro in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 293,000.00 (€ 215,346.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Rodolfo Nieto kam im Juli 2019 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 8.125,00 (€ 7.300,09) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rodolfo Nieto erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Toro im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 293.000,00 (€ 215.346,17).
