A top price for Rodolfo Nieto - as previously expected
The work Toro by Rodolfo Nieto was sold in the Latin American Art auction at Christies in New York in November 2013. It changed hands for a price of USD 293,000.00 (€ 215,346.17) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Toro is the most expensive artwork by Rodolfo Nieto that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Toro von Rodolfo Nieto wurde im November 2013 in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 293.000,00 (€ 215.346,17) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Toro das teuerste Kunstwerk von Rodolfo Nieto, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
