Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Flamingo azul by Rodolfo Nieto was sold in the Latin American Art auction at Christies in New York in September last year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 40,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 44,100.00 (€ 45,078.20). Admittedly, works by Rodolfo Nieto have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Toro in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 293,000.00 (€ 215,346.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Flamingo azul von Rodolfo Nieto wurde im September letzten Jahres in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 40.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 44.100,00 (€ 45.078,20) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rodolfo Nieto auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Toro im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 293.000,00 (€ 215.346,17).
