Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 100,800.00 (€ 92,715.23) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rodolfo Nieto - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Toro, which sold at auction in November 2013 for USD 293,000.00 (€ 215,346.17).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 100.800,00 (€ 92.715,23) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Rodolfo Nieto mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Toro beobachtet, die im November 2013 für USD 293.000,00 (€ 215.346,17) versteigert wurde.
