Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Night Flight by Rockwell Kent was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in July 2020. It changed hands for a price of USD 765.00 (€ 649.74) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rockwell Kent achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Gray Day in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 852,500.00 (€ 805,917.94).

Die Arbeit Night Flight von Rockwell Kent kam im Juli 2020 bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 765,00 (€ 649,74) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 600,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rockwell Kent erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Gray Day im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 852.500,00 (€ 805.917,94).
