Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 911 Flag by Robert Silvers was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2006. The price achieved of GBP 12,000.00 (€ 17,929.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Robert Silvers have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dollar Bill in October 2004 with an auction result of GBP 53,775.00 (€ 77,397.02).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit 911 Flag von Robert Silvers kam im Oktober 2006 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.000,00 (€ 17.929,07) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Robert Silvers auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dollar Bill im Oktober 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 53.775,00 (€ 77.397,02).
