Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Robert Michel achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in February 2019. In the Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale auction, the work "Ohne Titel" ("Untitled") sold for GBP 20,000.00 (€ 23,330.70) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Robert Michel - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Anti-Stilleben: "Gebruder Montgolfier" Gennant (Anti-Still Life Called "The Montgolfier Brothers"), which sold at auction in November 2013 for USD 68,750.00 (€ 50,529.18).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Robert Michel erzielte im Februar 2019 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit "Ohne Titel" ("Untitled") für GBP 20.000,00 (€ 23.330,70) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 7.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Robert Michel mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Anti-Stilleben: "Gebruder Montgolfier" Gennant (Anti-Still Life Called "The Montgolfier Brothers") beobachtet, die im November 2013 für USD 68.750,00 (€ 50.529,18) versteigert wurde.
