This artwork by Robert Michel achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2021. In the The Curator’s Eye: The Collection of Professor Dr Karin von Maur auction, the work Ps-Raum sold for EUR 20,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Robert Michel - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Anti-Stilleben: "Gebruder Montgolfier" Gennant (Anti-Still Life Called "The Montgolfier Brothers"), which sold at auction in November 2013 for USD 68,750.00 (€ 50,529.18).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Robert Michel erzielte im Mai 2021 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Curator’s Eye: The Collection of Professor Dr Karin von Maur wurde die Arbeit Ps-Raum für EUR 20.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 7.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Robert Michel mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Anti-Stilleben: "Gebruder Montgolfier" Gennant (Anti-Still Life Called "The Montgolfier Brothers") beobachtet, die im November 2013 für USD 68.750,00 (€ 50.529,18) versteigert wurde.
