Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2013 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Tree Of Consanguinity Xxxiv by Robert Kelly. The price achieved of USD 15,000.00 (€ 11,529.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Other works by Robert Kelly have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2019 the work Mimesis XXI was auctioned for USD 25,000.00 (€ 22,925.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2013 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tree Of Consanguinity Xxxiv von Robert Kelly zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 11.529,59) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Robert Kelly konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im September 2019 die Arbeit Mimesis XXI für USD 25.000,00 (€ 22.925,26) versteigert.
