Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Australian Mountain Hut by Robert Johnson was auctioned at Sothebys in Melbourne in August 2007. Here, the upper estimate of AUD 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for AUD 3,360.00 (€ 2,009.20). Admittedly, works by Robert Johnson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Australian Bridge Street in August 2007 with an auction result of AUD 14,400.00 (€ 8,610.86).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Australian Mountain Hut von Robert Johnson kam im August 2007 bei Sothebys in Melbourne zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von AUD 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für AUD 3.360,00 (€ 2.009,20) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Robert Johnson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Australian Bridge Street im August 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 14.400,00 (€ 8.610,86).
