Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled (Ruin 6.3.79) by Robert Graham for USD 2,500.00 (€ 2,146.48). This price was achieved in the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Sale at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Graham achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Frieze: Figures I-A, I-E, I-F, Ii-D, Iii-D in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 390,000.00 (€ 289,898.16).
