Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2008 Christies in New York held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work The Prince of Wales And Mrs. Fitzherbert Returning From A Fox Chase by Robert Dighton. The price achieved of USD 375.00 (€ 252.68) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Dighton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tally Ho! in July 2013 with an auction result of GBP 4,375.00 (€ 4,999.20).

Im Januar 2008 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Prince of Wales And Mrs. Fitzherbert Returning From A Fox Chase von Robert Dighton zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 375,00 (€ 252,68) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Dighton erzielen.
