A top price for Robert Dighton - as previously expected
In July 2013 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master & British Drawings including French Masterworks from the Dormeuil Collection, which included the work Tally Ho! by Robert Dighton. The price achieved of GBP 4,375.00 (€ 4,999.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Tally Ho! is the most expensive artwork by Robert Dighton that we have observed at auctions so far.
