Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Étude pour "L'Équipe de Cardiff" by Robert Delaunay was auctioned at Christies in Paris in October last year. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 12,600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Delaunay achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tour Eiffel in February 2012 with an auction result of GBP 3,737,250.00 (€ 4,462,375.53).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Étude pour "L'Équipe de Cardiff" von Robert Delaunay kam im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 12.600,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Delaunay erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tour Eiffel im Februar 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.737.250,00 (€ 4.462.375,53).
