Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Robert Delaunay could be acquired at Sothebys in Paris in April last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Art Impressionniste et Moderne Evening Auction auction, the work Projet pour ''Les Orgues lumineuses'' ou ''Orgues de lumière'' d'Abel Gance changed hands for EUR 277,200.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 300,000.00 – 500,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Delaunay achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tour Eiffel in February 2012 with an auction result of GBP 3,737,250.00 (€ 4,462,375.53).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Robert Delaunay konnte im April letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Paris für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Art Impressionniste et Moderne Evening Auction wechselte die Arbeit Projet pour ''Les Orgues lumineuses'' ou ''Orgues de lumière'' d'Abel Gance für EUR 277.200,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 300.000,00 – 500.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Delaunay erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tour Eiffel im Februar 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.737.250,00 (€ 4.462.375,53).
