A top price for Robert Delaunay
In February 2012 Christies in London held the auction Impressionist / Modern Evening Sale, which included the work Tour Eiffel by Robert Delaunay. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,737,250.00 (€ 4,462,375.53), 49% above the upper estimate. With this result, Tour Eiffel is even the most expensive work of art by Robert Delaunay that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Robert Delaunay
Im Februar 2012 führte Christies in London die Auktion Impressionist / Modern Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tour Eiffel von Robert Delaunay zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 3.737.250,00 (€ 4.462.375,53) und damit 49% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Tour Eiffel sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Robert Delaunay, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
