Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Rob Scholte could be acquired at Sothebys in Amsterdam in March 2010 for an unexpectedly low price. In the THE BAT ARTVENTURE COLLECTION formerly known as THE PETER STUYVESANT COLLECTION auction, the work Dutch Lucky Rice (From The Questionmark Series) changed hands for EUR 7,500.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Rob Scholte have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Overspel (Adultery) in April last year with an auction result of EUR 40,320.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Rob Scholte konnte im März 2010 bei Sothebys in Amsterdam für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion THE BAT ARTVENTURE COLLECTION formerly known as THE PETER STUYVESANT COLLECTION wechselte die Arbeit Dutch Lucky Rice (From The Questionmark Series) für EUR 7.500,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rob Scholte auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Overspel (Adultery) im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 40.320,00.
