Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Rivane Neuenschwander achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in June 2008. In the Contemporary Art Day Sale auction, the work Pertence. Nao pertence. (Belong. Not Belong) sold for GBP 18,750.00 (€ 23,700.63) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rivane Neuenschwander - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work One Thousand and One Possible Nights [N. 51-55|AID420885], which sold at auction in May 2015 for USD 75,000.00 (€ 68,219.03).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Rivane Neuenschwander erzielte im Juni 2008 bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Pertence. Nao pertence. (Belong. Not Belong) für GBP 18.750,00 (€ 23.700,63) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 7.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Rivane Neuenschwander mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit One Thousand and One Possible Nights [N. 51-55|AID420885] beobachtet, die im Mai 2015 für USD 75.000,00 (€ 68.219,03) versteigert wurde.
